Another question though, how do u hide the 4 pins power connector for cable management so that it doesnt get into view when u open the side panel?


If there is really no way to get around this den I will just save $50 bucks and go for DGX.

DX at $129 is very worth it, since its almost the same quality as though use in D2/D2X.

The THD+N alone exceed that of the $200+ X-fi Titanium HD.

i see the Swans M10 seems quite recommended here in this thread.
I am looking for a budget speakers for music and movies.
I find my existing LED tv speakers not good for music.

Can i connect M10 to apple tv3 optical digital output?
Will you recommend such a setup?

no other way to route it but im using this full black cable to make it less obvious

It only has 3.5mm jack iirc. You can connect it to the headphone jack of your TV. However, it is intended for PC usage, which is near-field and low power so it's not recommended really.

Is it that good? How do you compare it with likes of Creative T3, Audio Engine A5, Altec Lansing MX6021, Creative T20 and Calyx?

audio basic seem to have stopped taking the Calyx A2

he still sells their DACs and other products. Not sure why he dropped the speakers from his line up, they sound great and is still priced cheaply.

but I rather not compare Calyx and AE to the others since they are 2.0 sets...

if you can find black sleeved cable for it, it might blend well to the interior of you case.

For me I get audio product with my ears not eyes , if you are so ocd about the looks of an audio product my advise is to skip it, when you will find out the front panel audio cable gonna looks more worst when connect to this dx

you can have both, but with a bit of sacrifice. Forgo the front panel cable.
