Choon Hwee, the amount of moral (self) righteousness you have appropriated for the purposes of this article deeply unsettles me. While it is entirely your right to deny the value of or to refuse to participate in constructive discourse, I think it is completely misguided – malicious even – to misrepresent many of the individuals whom you have cited here.

To start off does not constitute ‘bullying’ for one to assess the facts of the situation and to dish it -as it is-. I find it incredibly problematic that you think that “(to be of the opinion that) writing style, not content, is more important when raising serious socioeconomic issues.” is constitutive of anything that remotely resembles bullying. The fact is that the way in which your previous article and Keira’s account approached (or claimed to approach) ‘socioeconomic issues’ left a bad taste in many people’s mouths and they told you as such. The least you could do, even if you dismiss the validity of this (entirely legitimate) feedback, is to at least represent them with accuracy and integrity.

I will at least acknowledge that some of the comments that hint at violence are probably excessive. Nevertheless, I still take issue with how you have conflated both sorts of comments (the reasoned, civil, well-argued ones, along with the ones of the ‘rasengan’ variety) by equating both of them to this nebulous, monolithic non-sin that is bullying.

I am not going to mince my words. I think that you owe many people an apology, though, of course you may, as you have been wont to do, ignore what I have suggested and choose to be victimised again.

do you guys really enjoy writing this way? :s22::s22:

Got grading also, just like undergrad.

i tot B- is min. requirement? oh ya it fits. :s13:

Orionmiz, what masters u doing?:o

I'm doing EE. :s22:

masters is take how many sems normally?

Depends lor. For coursework, need to clear 10 modules. Full-time students usually take between 3 to 5 modules per sem (must finish within 4 semesters), and part-time students usually take 2 modules (min 1 module, max 3 modules, and must finish within 8 semesters).

my engrish nose that erite. moi admit 3/4 of huat chiu quote moi nose understand.

*changes to proper typing*

the point of an article is to communicate and bring across your message rightly and accurately; that's the main point.
points like style of writing, bombastic vocabs and elite style analogies, they are just OTHERS.

soooo...

i think there are quite a few things to consider...

1. how many S/u options u have left
2. how many more s/u-able modules left
3. among those mod, how confident are u such that u will not have more mod with grade lower than B (assuming the grade u wan to SU now is a B) compared to the number of s/u options left.

I have 12 MCs of S/U left. And I still have 1 SS module and 16 MCs of electives to clear.

And another question here: If I go on industrial attachment during 1 semester, is it necessary for me to take evening modules because IA is worth only 12 MCs and students are required to take at least 16MCs per semester?

Siao ah, call entire SG dog also won't get kicked out one.

I don't think anything will be done to the cyberbullies, they're still happily gloating and commenting in the KRC article. :s22:

I doubt so. This cyberbullying issue has already made headline news in yahoo, more and more people have already known about it. The reputation of NUS has taken a hammering. Definitely some action would be taken soon by NUS or USP against those bullies.
