that is expensive. if take bus, does it direct bring us to cityview? price and bus nos?

If you want cheap, and don't mind dragging your luggage for a few min, take A21 from the airport. Either read up earlier posts or google for its bus route and prices. I always have maps.google.com.hk opened in a tab when deciding my hotels. :D

If you want to alight directly in front of the hotel, either take cab or the airport express option. Convenience vs cost. Your call.

I don't think it's expensive considering coach transfer service can easily cost HKD 140. The Airport Express Travel Pass can be a good choice too as it includes 3 days of unlimited MTR travel MTR > Fares & Tickets > Online Ticketing > Airport Express Services > Airport Express Travel Pass
On hindsight, I should have gotten this pass when I was in HK.

Most of the answers to your questions can be found at Location - The Cityview - Hong Kong Hotel - The Cityview Hong Kong Official Site
or just read some of the earlier posts on this thread.

There is some error in my previous calculations so I'm posting a new reply. If you want the 3 days unlimited mtr travel (you cannot get free rides on the buses in Kowloon and HK Island, only Northwest Territories), there is no group discount. There are 2 options available: HK$220 (1 Airport Express journey) and HK$300 (2 Airport Express journeys). I had earlier thought that the $220 option includes 2 Airport Express journeys which would make it pretty worthwhile but if it's only 1, it is expensive unless u travel very long distances.

If you choose the group ticket, it's slightly cheaper to go for group of 2 plus 2 child single trip tickets (HK$140 x 2 + 45 x 2) compared to group of 3 (HK$190 x 2). Then purchase an octopus card for each person to use on MTR and buses (adult HK$150 inclusive of HK$50 refundable deposit and child HK$70 inclusive of HK$50 refundable deposit. There is a HK$9 fee per card if you return the card within 3 mths). I spent about HK$250 on public transport (mtr and buses excluding Airport Express) in the course of a week.

Quite convenient as it's near YMT MTR and Nathan Road where there are shops and eateries. There's a 7-eleven, a bakery, an eatery that sells breakfast items like chee cheong fun, fried soy sauce noodles, curry fishballs and sandwiches, a congee shop and a wanton noodles shop nearby. Actually, Mongkok, Jordan and YMT are all quite near to one another (walking distance) so staying in any of these 3 areas is pretty convenient as long as the MTR station is close by. In terms of variety of dining options, Jordan may be better than YMT but it's also noisier at night.

The Superior room has no bathtub, only shower. You can check out the photos of the superior room here small room but excellent location. - Review of The Cityview Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China - TripAdvisor

THanks buzzmario and torrent06 for sharing your infos.

As I will be paying for 2 rooms for about a week stay, dont think i will want to get premier rooms :)

Will prefer the room with bath tub, after a long time it will be good to soak. ^^

Why don't you just confirm with jetabout/cityview? I should think it's true but must show marriage certificate and perhaps subject to availability.
