I read ics is laggy and memory management not so good. u using China, Cambodia or Malaysia ics? does non ics apps have 3 dots at the bottom? the touch butttons functions remain the same after ics?

Yes, it is a bit laggy but acceptable for me. I am on Cambodia ICS. so far nvr notice any dots below those non ics apps and the touch buttons remains the same after the upgrade.

had been on the ics with GO launcher for 3 plus weeks...still going quite ok. the lag is negligible.

this didn't happen when i upgraded my sgs2 from 2.3.6 to ics..

U can do a search of my post in this threat. I have put up a simple instruction on how to do it. but u need to patch your stock GB first before u can upgrade to the ics. else u will face a failure at stage 2.
The instruction on how to patch the stock GB is also in the simple instruction which i had posted.

ics makes usb storage as mtp now instead of ums.

Looks bearable from review videos.
I'm not looking to use my phone for any medias, just some basic apps and texting. So it fits my bill perfectly and I don't have to spend so much for the Honor.

I connected to USB and can only choose mtp or ptp option under the pull down menu. u using the Cambodia ics?

also after restart, the ringtone and SMS tone will be set back to default. browser perform very laggy also. should have stuck with gingerbread.

like that better stuck at gingerbread unless huawei got official ICS firmware
