Why did they remove the label "Macbook Pro" on the screen for the retina model? That's the only thing stopping me from getting it.

the label will be at the bottom of the mbp..

They charged like 3 weeks after ordering, with the full amount being deducted from my credit card account. I've no idea what's with the shipping though because my status is still 'processing'.

they do it just before the item is shipped. if they cant get the payment, the shipment is no go.

on 12 july they charge my CC

Shipping times for MacBook Pro with Retina display shortened on Apple Store from 3-5 weeks to 2-3 weeks. Hope it means we will be getting our units sooner.

Definitely china, shanghai, then usually it makes a stop at HK before coming to SG.
