It is not okay to move your steering wheel. When you mean move you mean steer right? Not just "move" a bit?
I got "Steering while vehicle is stationary" during my last TP.
The tester even knows my instructor teaches all his students to steer while vehicle is stationary. Not stepping on the brakes while steering, does not mean you are not steering while vehicle is stationary.
But He only deducted me once for it though i did it a few times. 2 points iirc
Usually a full lock on cars is 2 and 1/2 turns right?
Actually the best way to know your steering position when confused is to let your car move slowly at halfclutch, while preparing to brake anytime if you sense you are going to strike kerb
During parallel i also easily confused. Like in parallel if i not sure if my wheel is straight, i halfclutch a bit and see where the vehicle is 'moving'. Make sure you look at the car position before moving forward/backwards to 'test', if your rear wheel close to the rear kerb then better to go forward.
After that quickly adjust back. Usually is when the steering wheel looks pointing 'straight' but the car is not moving straight, thus you know your wheel isn't straight.
WHen you full lock the steering wheel it will not look pointing straight, thus, if your steering wheel looks pointing straight, but your vehicle isn't going straight, you know you have to counter turn +/- one round like that.
Thanks for the help bro! I turn to YouTube videos for some help and seems like I got it right maybe a bit more practice.
Hopefully can try a few more times for my next weeks lesson.
