Is it the UHS1 card with the Android logo on the packaging?

Those don't work well with formatting I'm afraid. Personally I trashed 2 of those before getting a Class 6 64gb online which worked fine on FAT32/NTFS. :(

ya this card... nvm, i swapped out my S3 32gb card and used it in the tab instead,

Remember, to be safe get a Class 6 or 10 64gb card. Don't get those that's rated UHS1. Sadly, most of those available locally are UHS1. :(

I'm just speaking from experience.....me and several guys on XDA kenna that one before, higher chance of cockup. :(

But there's no way to know for sure until one tries, so....anything goes. :)

Yours can do all file operations to the card? Copying files via usb cable?

Whoa, managed to format my sandisk 64GB SDXC card to FAT32 using my office card reader.
Crap that my sandisk imagemate USB 2.0 cannot even read/format my card (WTF)
Now my tab 7.0 can read the card and i am transferring my movies over. :D

May I ask is your Tab2 7.0 with internal 8Gb or 16Gb ?
If mine is 16Gb, can I add the 64Gb card too and make it 16+64Gb ? (i understand some overheads are used).

just wanna be use so as not to waste a 64Gb card...
Do you have the exact brand so that I could go and get one as well ? I am using wifi only GT-P3110 tab. Thanks

I am using the tab 7.0 wifi 8GB. yes you can use the 64Gb card but you need the correct reader to format it to FAT32. I am using sandisk SDXC microSD card. most retailers carry the sandisk with the android robot on the packaging.

Hi Jason,
May I ask you a few questions about how much you bought this card and do you need to "root" the tab to use this 64Gb card?
Would also like to ask if you bought it in stores here or online ? and the reader you use to format it to FAT32 ?
Thank you very much,

Patt0n.

There is a Jelly Bean OTA (4.1.1) for our P3100 from Malaysia. You need to have a stock recovery to flash this.

JAson1980,

that's the one. Maybe not 100%. it's same type, plastic ones. There's also 'leather' type too
