Guys and Gals..... Can i beg u all to pls do not talk or whisper during lecture.... It is very irritating.... U not sure can pls ask later can, we all pay sch fees like u.... Pay money listen to lecturer not ur voices... If u still want to continue... Fine i hope u step on a lego lol

Hahhah... About the crashing of lecture thing, I think it's better to not crash if the lecture is always very pack.. This means that there are a lot of rightful students being deprived of seats.. Basically, this could be gauge easily... Haha

One incident I would very like to share, my friend told me one random guy from lecture asked to copy some notes from the previous week and she lent him... When she asked to copy the notes from him later on in the lecture, he refused...seriously, such a CALCULATIVE and SELFISH man!! To think he's even FIT to be a MAN??

A man SOOOO calculative with women?? Omg...

I MET THIS KIND OF GIRL IN YEAR 1 LOR. I know how it feels.

I don't think the crashing is abt the lecture being packed. Not all the lectures will be packed anyway. More about the notes since SIM will definitely print just enough, by taking one, someone from that lecture group won't have it. Could be various reasons why they didn't take on first day, sick or got work or something, unlikely to skip whole semester either way. Beside all the lecturer may have slightly different style of answering/numbering their diagram

Regarding the second, it's not even about being a guy, common courtesy, if you asked someone for help and he/she need your help in return just help. Not like your friend asked for the impossible.

exactly. don't take what's not yours, chiwawa. imagine you're sick or had other valid reasons and missed the lecture and couldn't take your rightful notes. someone came thinking it's extra and took it. how do you feel? if you want the notes, photocopy.

If there is a certain concept, that you dont understand and would like to attend another lecture again to listen to it please go check with ur lecturer. I am sure he/she knows which lecture to slot you in or can explain to you on the spot. Crashing lecture on such circumstance, I can understand, since it doesnt happen often.

But constantly crashing other ppl lecturer is a pain in the a**, esp those popular ones. You totally deprive reg student of a seat, delay class from starting because students cannot find a seat, and make the lecturer call the admin to weed out illegal students. It just totally spoils one mood of learning. Btw it happens to my audit class rather often, until ms chu also pissed off.

As for the notes, i think enough others have said enough.

If there is a certain concept, that you dont understand and would like to attend another lecture again to listen to it please go check with ur lecturer. I am sure he/she knows which lecture to slot you in or can explain to you on the spot. Crashing lecture on such circumstance, I can understand, since it doesnt happen often.

Normally i will just help whomever needed help ah. Should learn to be more gracious and kind. We are all here to help one another and also lend a shoulder to one another as we study in the same institution ah. Sharing is caring by the way.

I have a fair share of experience with selfish people in the lecture too. They chop seats for eight of their friends, talking loudly in lectures etc etc. I wonder what's wrong with these people. Yea, no point getting so Defensive over the gender thingy, unless you're guilty of behaving like that.

Wah, u label people selfish but i think chop seats for friends shouldn't be a wrong thing right?? Of course talking loudly in lecs are not supposed to as that's a disruption to others.....but chopping seats for friends also mean helping as well ah, scared later friends come into LT no seats le. I mean if u have friends u will sure help them to chop seats also right??

LOL!!! I think there's nothing to do with gender. It's just basic courtesy that will just lend notes to anybody to copy regardless of whether its a guy/girl. Just need to help people whom need help, next time who knows, they might just help u back when u need it.

Exactly! I hate those who chop like 4 seats and above for their friends. Excuse me, why should those who reach early be deprived of seats just because your friends are late?

I mean if let's say got friends coming for lec then of course i will help to chop seats for them, we are supposed to help as well as they are friends right?? But of course won't chop all ah, just the exact number of the seats for the exact number of friends, of course if no friends then won't chop seats ah, cos we cannot also consider friends only right?? Still have to think of others as well, when they come into LTs they also need seats ah, cannot be so selfish ah.

lol chiwawa you damn funny. I kind of pity you since so many people have shoot you already but it is still wrong to chop seats. What make your friends more superior than others that they are entitled to seats when others make the effort to reach earlier than them? I understand that from your perspective, it is a good deed to help your peers but I believe there's a way to help without undermining others. Just tell them to reach early la!
