NTT does not run a peering exchange at this time at their DC. OpenNet does cover their location, still waiting for an excuse to pull fiber in there

Yes that is not a problem. We can configure both GE1 and GE2 for your Internet connection.

Let our customer service folks know that you need a 5m cable and they will be able to quote you for one.

I don't think there is a longer power cable for the Zhone. We'd have to ask our vendor and if there was one we'd have to get it shipped from the US... I recommend using a power extension.

Thanks for the test.

Tested with cable before and now with Singnet adsl getting an average 270ms and about 15 hops. Your test shows better overall ping time and only 10/11 hops. If Viewqwest can further improve the test result, that will be great because this is very crucial for a stable and reliable connection that requires high/fast speed execution trading platform with the lowest latency and minimal hops to the States.

Still waiting to see M1 test, until now no one respond to my request for ping/tracert test.

I prefer wired connection especially dealing with online trading platform for all desktop PCs.
Also directly connected from zhone ONT to PCs, avoiding all the unnecessary additional modem/router and cables.
Am I correct? should I need wi-fi, the zhone wireless features is still there for iPad and mobile handset for wi-fi connection.

Installation just took place around 4pm.

Asked to be on bridged mode - but didn't realise you guys actually lock via MAC address so i can't freely swap routers around & I guess it captured the wrong port MAC ID - so i need a reset

Also, the static IP/IPv6 will be issued later or?
