I think his bumper happen to rest right at the edge of the screen protector. Bumper like the SGP neo ex extend further in and should have no problem with screen protectors.

I'm also disappointed but I'm actually happily using the faulty case. Well I'll wait and see the kind of quality case that they promised to send me.

Check the thickness of the skin before you commit. Don't get too thick in case you want to use cases in future
