How much is the train ticket from Taipei to Hualien ?

Actually TNA flight from Taipei to Hualien at NT 1090 per pax not that ex right ?
Save some time.

Tix for single trip from TPE-Hualien is 440NT. If return tix, it is about 796NT. Coz, i booked for 1st depart TMS for Hualien and back on the 3rd to Taipei.

Hope so man.
Really don't want to be in same situation like this bro here

Need help ! Travelling from Taipei to hualian - www.hardwarezone.com.sg

Maybe the experts here can help him out.

Train tickets for 2/11 should start selling today right ?
Or yesterday ?
And all sold out so fast ?

The tix sales started on last Friday. Actually you can book for 3rd and 4th Nov on a Friday as well.

wonder how early their railway start sell tix~

if no train than take bus~ if really scare than bo bian find plane to book

Normally is 2 weeks before your departure. If it's a Sat or Sunday, you can book it the 2 fridays before.

It me , haha , coz there a international marathon at hualian on 3rd , ppl are already fighting for ticket few days before , I think 3 or 4 nov onward shd be no problem already

Train tickets are very limited on the eastern side.

Even if you get it, it maybe two sector tickets, thus requiring you to change seats in the middle of your train ride. I did a ride from Taipei to Taitung, 3 of us had to change seats in the middle of the ride in July. Nov, should not be that bad, but because of the MARATHON, better keep your fingers cross.

Normally people book car/cab go from Qing Jing, up He Huan Shan, thru 太魯閣, to Hualien, then to Yilan.

Is there enough time for me to go Yeh Liu in the morning, then come back Taipeh and take train to Hualien around 3pm , then check in hotel and go night market.

Or better to take morning train to Hualien but like that enough time to do anything in Hualien for the day ?

Consider going for 野柳地質公園 actually cos morning/noon time nth much at Keelung..

You can take bus for 1hr+ to go Keelung or take TRA which you would need to transfer over at Badu..

From Taichung to Yilan is not that near..

Is Hotel Puri Ximen a recommended place for 3 pax? I'm intending to go next year with my gf and her mum may be tagging along so might need a triple room. The rooms look quite nice. The location seems quite near XMD station as well.
