One Singtel sales just come to my door step to approach me to sign up explore home 10 at $69.90.

Currently I still have contract with my singtel broadband and she say $130 of upgrade fee will be waive. She also say registration fee of $53.50 will be waive too. I just need to pay $80.25 for the installation.

Should I sign up now??

What software version is your PACE?

After upgrade, wireless connectivity is still working but led light is so dim now. Is yours the same? Perhaps I may need to reboot the PACE a second time?

Just sharing with fellow PACE user.

For those who upgraded the PACE firmware, rebooting just the PACE only will sometimes not be sufficient.

At the start of PACE reboot, usually all led lights up, indicating the led light are functioning.

In my case, after finalizing the initialization, wireless led light did not lit up even though i still have wireless connectivity.

After rebooting both ONT and PACE according to sequence proper, i got back the wireless light back to normal.

Your subscription fee is $300/mth. Why pay so much when the international bandwidth is mostly C and D grade? :s8:

Hi James

Not paying a single cent for it a.t.m. I believe the international BW will improve over time as they are constantly looking for international carriers.

Just wondering if any Singnet fibre users here are facing wireless disconnect issues when using a Wireless-N adapter....?

I'm currently using a TP-Link WN-822N and I have been facing many random disconnects recently. I called Singtel and they told me to monitor the situation for one week, as the cause of these disconnects could be due to the wireless-n adapter. Apparently other people have called up with the same issue, and it seems to be some incompatibility issue between some new firmware of the PACE modem and wireless-N adapters....

i am on the new firmware for PACE. Am monitoring it since last night.

any way have you scanned your area to see which 2.4Ghz channel is conggested? When Singtel installer came to install my unit, they set it to auto.
With the scanner i can see quite a number of people in my area are using the default Auto Ch6. now i set it to manual and away from my neighbours.

here is the link for wifi scanner.
