Totally no effect on the signal, I dont think so...

Try walking around.. I could say it does affect but slightly...

Thinking country like USA with weak signal might have issue.

Lastly would like to add, not sure if it affect the different...

my Iphone 5 is fully cover by skin even on the bumper side... so the metal bumper does not really come in contact with my phone to begin with.

The only thing I can't confirm is will it affect LTE.. Will take it around these few days to see how the signal perform.

The really good is with the bumper on, holding my phone and using it is so much better then on the bare phone
