A few ques for the VQ reps here:

1) I'm an existing non-contract Raptor 200 customer. If I sign up for the 24 months contract, will I qualify for the Apple TV promotion?
2) If VQ offers a higher speed plan at an attractive price in the near future (before my contract is up), will I be able to upgrade to it?

I not from VQ but I can guess the answer.

1) Only first 50 signup per day at sitex.
2) Yes, of course you need to sign new contract. My guess will be in future VQ will use the same price point but with a speed boost.

Sure thing!

Registration fee = $53.50
Activation fee = $80.25
Modem rental = $5.35/mth (not applicable for bundle plans)

Hope that helps!

That sounds quite normal for wifi actually - it also depends on which server you are connecting to, some are better than others.

If you sign up during SITEX we will contact you the following week. I'd suggest you keep your M1 connection until we've finished the installation and everything is up and running - that way in case there are any problems you won't be stuck without internet!

the week after there will be certain period that my phone will be off , cos of my final exam =D if i happen to miss the call is there a number I am able to call back ?

Hahaha... Machiam Apple... Keep the price but upgrade its "contents/specifications"... Good, I like the idea... As a consumer, easier for me to remember as well.

Managed to make it to SITEX and signed up. Gotta commend you guys. Out of all the ISP booths I visited, had the best sales experience at Viewqwest. Hope this translates to the same kind of service experience.

Can't wait to get all fiber-ed up.

OT:At the same time, also encountered the most bizarre salesperson at another ISP's booth. My wife and I were on the verge of laughing out loud. The guy that served us was so far out there.

You mind sharing which sales staff serve you at the booth at Sitex so that more brothers n sister here can go find that person and help the staff at Sitex.

I was actually served by 3 different staff at the same time but only got one of their names (Joel). They were very patient in answering all my questions.

Don't wanna go OT too much. This guy spent a good 10mins of my time talking about his sales ability and service levels being so awesome. I had to prompt him 3 times to explain the various speed/price plans to me before he actually got the message. However, he blazed through it in less than a minute and went back to talking about his awesomeness.

I thanked him and walked away. Far, far away from him and the ISP whose service he was NOT promoting. LOL.
