Able to download apps from Play Store once Play Store updates to the latest version.

Is the wifi mac id fixed?

Whats the best way to upgrade this?
Full backup with titanium backup , sync to google contacts then flash , root then restore?

There are no problems with Play Store. If you follow
the step from their ino mobile website to install the
google play apk and restart your phone, you should be ok.

Here are the Features/Fixes in 1.0.4 as far as i know:
=================================
1) English Dictionary Fix (no more red lines under every damn word lol)

2) Google Location Service Fix (Banking software that wants to know where you are)

3) (MOST Important Feature in 1.0.4) The ability to install software to external SDCard. If you have a 32gb microsd card, your phone's usb storage now becomes 32gb instead of the original measly 2gb. Yes, you can now download apps to your heart content, limited only to the size of your microsd. (Highly recommended to get a Class 10 microsd tho.)

4) Optimized Battery Power consumption (ROM is more stable, and cleaner, therefore eliminating errors and retries in the background which eats up resources and process load, thus reducing battery consumption) Personally i feel the phone does feel faster and lasts longer.

5) Lock screen removed the Camera Icon, it now shows only
phone and unlock icons.

6) Boot up and shut down sounds have been removed. (depending on your perspective, you may think this is a bug instead lol. Not a huge issue imo.)

Bugs/Issues introduced in 1.0.4
====================
1) When phone is rebooted, there will be this message "Android Upgrading". You may safely ignore the message, its just something that Ino Mobile overlooked.

2) Someone mentioned google talk.apk is missing from the firmware. Personally i haven't been using any apps that makes use of it, so i don't think its too big of an issue (pls correct me if im wrong)

3) To achieve the ability to use Microsd as storage, 1.0.4 actually has to "trick" the phone. To the phone, usb storage is now microsd, and the original 2gb become SD Card. This may appear quite confusing at first, but you'll get used to it.

Congrats and welcome to the Ino One club!
Yea for its price, its really hard to beat.

For starters, Ino One has recently had a major firmware upgrade to 1.0.4 and it is your choice if you want to download it or not.
It introduces alot of good features/fixes but also may be abit confusing if you are starting out. You may wish to visit their website inomobile.com.sg to find out more details how to do it.

To zhng the screen, i recommend the below:
1) Go Contacts EX
2) Apex Launcher Pro
3) Beautiful Widgets
4) Live Wallpaper (I use shadow galaxy very chio, its animated galaxy of stars lol)

This is how it looks like: (lol abit of showing off here :D)
(You can take screenshot by pressing VolumeDown and Power button together btw)

For video playing:
MX Player

For mp3/music:
Jetaudio Plus

If you are into gaming, the INO One is also no slouch.
The below Android 3D games are graphically very good and run pretty smooth. PLUS they are nice to show off your phone with :D
1) Grand Theft Auto 3
2) Dead Trigger
3) Shadowgun
4) Wild Blood (This one actually uses Unreal Engine. Fancy that)
5) Minecraft Pocket Edition

It seems like for people running firmware version 1.0.4, the microSD card is being recognised as the internal USB storage and vice versa? Why is it that mine does not reflect so? I'm using a 16GB microSD card.

Actually this is correct.
To see if yours work, you go to:
Context > Manage Apps > Touch on USB Storage at the top.
You should see 16GB for your USB storage. It used to be only 2gb.

Thats why this 1.0.4 upgrade is kindda confusing lol, some parts of the phone report correct, some parts report wrong :D But most importantly is you HAVE 16gb of space to install your apps.

Ahhh okay I get it! But then not all apps can be installed onto the microSD, right? I set the default install location to be microSD but some of them still end up on the internal storage. My guess is that certain apps need to be on the internal storage to run? :s22:

Ya same, i also set default install as microsd but some still appear in internal storage, I dunno why they work this way.

However, making use of manage apps function, i can still manage to move them to sdcard and they still function well.
Hope this helps.

Much much faster

I gotta admit! The 1.0.4 update has seriously made my phone significantly faster! Apps run faster, opening up the menu and sliding left to right is faster too! As for the battery life, I can say that it's improved albeit just a little (in my opinion).

yes, some sort of microscopic critter, like a big speck of dust, it was moving around inside then it stopped moving, think it died. will go to ino to get replacement.
