Timberwolf is the most premium.. Using all nature ingredients compared to come like science diet.. No offence..
Think oso partially about price to value..

My Dog Food Experience...

Hi All,

Just to share my experience.

I have a pet chihuahua x pomeranian

Here is his diet sequence through these years.

Bought him while studying in Australia

1. Birth till purchase by us (~ 8 to 9 weeks)
Puppy (Previous Dog Owner/ Breeder): Rice with cooked chicken necks and carrots alternated with wet food from 4legs (Australia Brand) (Puppies grew up faster and healthier from how I see it)

2. Puppy years
Wean him off 4legs as it sells in 500g as it is fresh food but as he is so small it took him two weeks to finish it which turns bad. Freezing the food makes it smell funny after reheating in microwave, started him on Pets Own Milk or Pedigree puppy milk whichever is available at supermarkets and pedigree puppy kibbles ok for a while until he hated the kibbles.

3. Puppy to Juvenile
Purina and Royal Canine food range from puppy to food for small dogs, with "My Dog" and Nature's Gift for wet food, no problems with them except tend to play with his Purina kibbles often. Changed to fresh milk (He absolutely loved that!) (FYI fresh wet food and puppy milk if eaten by a single small puppy will take very long to finish so change to milk that humans drink, save the convenience)

4. Adult dog.
Experimented with Science Diet, turns out he like the small kibble range. Wet food and milk same as 3.

Flew to Singapore

Still on Science Diet, experimented with Fish For Dogs at Pet Lover Centre, instant rejection, refusing to eat. Wet food change to Caesar still acceptable. Milk change to HL fresh milk he ok with it too.

6. Currently
A new product line called 1st choice, in my opinion this is his favourite dry kibble so far after going through so many brands trial and error.

From my wife's cousin, (he is a corgie owner)Timberwolf works best for his dog.

For my dog, he is ok to drink milk that is for human consumption...
Different dogs like humans have different level of of tolerance and preference towards food stuff.
He likes durians and mooncakes but will run away from sour things like orange, lemon and definitely pineapple is a harmful NO for him.

Where can we buy wellness?I stayed in Malaysia and most of the time bring my golden retriever go run and play hard because I heard they might stress when they dont play and end up bite us.
Most of the pet shop here sells all that you mentioned.

i had two dogs who passed away at the age of 14 and 15.. (human years)
Both of them, we had fed them a reputable brand of dog food aka S***nce D**t.. We had never fed them "rubbish" but only dog food and bread occassionally..

But guess what, both had problems in the later years. One had stomach cancer (lots of tumour in her stomach) and the other, liver failure.

I regret that I did not do more research back then, I had start to wonder why they had cancer, so I went to google the dog food brand and found many articles indicating that even the more reputable brand of dog food are actually not safe due to the ingredients.

So please, becareful of what you feed your dog. It does not mean that vet recommended or expensive dog food equals to quality food. This would be a false assumption.

Your dog living to 14-15 years is considered super geriatric liao.

Be careful what you read on the internet, any tom dick and harry can just write stuff to mislead people. I dont get a cent from Hills but it is truly effective when certain medical condition requires me to use it.
