There is a separate property tax reference no. However I'm not sure whether that is needed during payment.

Property tax payment at AXS requires either the Tax Reference No. (not NRIC) or Payment Voucher No.
These are in the iras sent to you!

Thanks, I might has thrown the letter away...

Don't worry about the letter.
You can re-generate Payment Voucher from IRAS website (need Singpass). You can even specify the amount!

I created 2 payment vouchers last time as I was splitting the amount into two different credit cards.

oh, like that means no other way to charge Property tax to manhattan and get rebates. if without rebates means go to ibanking and choose bill payment? or can't other cc at all except posb and dbs ?

if use posb/dbs cc at axs can get some rebates/ rewards.

I am on GIRO. Tried paying one month's worth of tax on Friday. Hopefully it will be captured before this month's GIRO deduction. If the GIRO does not take place this means that it works without having to disturb the GIRO arrangement. If out doesn't work it may be that the payment was too late so may have to experiment again next month

How did yours go?

I also paid one month worth of Income Tax on Saturday using DBS CC. Points posted as of today. :)

But I think it was too close to GIRO deduction, because the GIRO for this month still went through! :s13::s13:

Let's see if my payment is treated as payment for next month then...

I think you are right. But just that GIRO deduction amt is decided 5 working day earlier so I think you are too late.

Yes, you are right here as well.
I paid my monthly tax using AXS via DBS cc, but just 3 biz days before the date of deduction. Since that fell under the stated 5 biz days window, my GIRO deduction was not zero but the usual monthly amount.

Usually if I want pay with cc, I'll purposely empty my giro-linked account to let the auto deduction failed to avoid double payment. So b4 next attempted deduction, my payment with cc already done.
