Samsung Galaxy S3 - It's Finally here!

Phone randomly switches to MUTE without vibrabte

Using a NON ROOTED phone.

After JB update, the phone mutes by itself randomly !
And it doesn't vibrate at all.

I have searched all my apps and even move the mute icon to prevent accidental activation.

Anyone with the same problems ?

anyone rooted their S3 after the 4.1.2 update? My superuser is not asking for permission whenever apps that require root are installed. anyone can help? i used CR Autoroot to root via Odin.

My S3 giving me alot of problems after the 4.1.2 update

It keep on randomly restart then hang at the "Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-9300" page

The rate at which its being charged is goddamn slow as well, last time on 4.0.4 arnd 3hrs+ will charge finished, now its between 4-5hrs, wtf man

and the haptic feedback, even though i off it, the phone is still vibrating to every single letter I press

anybody have any solutions? especially the restarting part

Seems to me that you're experiencing the same thing I did in December last year. My phone would sometimes shutdown on its own. Turns out that there was a defect with my batch when the phone was released, motherboard issue.

Sent it to service centre and got the motherboard replaced. Working smoothly and typing from my phone now.

Had the same Issue.Go service center and get them to change mother board. Solved my problems.

Usually when i change/replace phones, i would reformat and delete everything inside the phone but now only changing mobo so not so sure whether isit necessary...did you guys reformat?

Just asking, I'm planning to buy an micro sd card during the next it show...

Technically s3 supports up to 64gb but if I do buy and use it, will the phone fully utilize all 64gb on top or the 16gb internal memory or will it cap at some limit such as 32?

follow up on this disc space issue..
is there a way to redirect the download from qvod, funshion, pptv into the sd card instead? my 16GB has about 3GB left. that is before i download anything from the players...

Apps can only be install in the 16 gb internal memory unless root to utilise the memory card.

Avoid sandisk, many people have sandisk microsd card suddenly not working in samsung phone. Not worth to buy memory card during it show. Most SLS shops had jacked up the price compared to 1-2 weeks ago.

when taking about utlise the memory card... what we taking about here? installing apps?

i really just want to change the directory that some of the streaming apps saves the files..

Sigh, Been very careless with my S3. Dropped it and screen cracked, recently dropped into toilet bowl as well. Now its screen crack plus Camera flash blinking randomly lol. Anyone knows if telco will accept phone with cracked glass for trade in? Repairing at samsung service centre seems like very expensive, not sure 50% discount is still available or not.
