firstly u need to understand ur body's metabolism rate.
then, proceed to consume more than it can burn.
full fresh 100% australian milk does the trick.
and start resistance training to trigger muscle growth.
otherwise all wasted.

once again, eat clean. dirty carbs never good for anyone.

can chicken chop replace rice?

Yes. i always do that.

i always order chicken chop, more salad, no potatoes
if hungry, add one more egg.

eat the skin, natural and healthy.

dumbbells are enough.

increase reps or weight depends on what u want: definition or more mass.

Diet is a pre-requisite. No diet, no results.

HIGH, NATURAL fats pls...
yes totally no sugar. no fructose, no carbohydrates.. etc

What if no dumbells? Is there any alternative type of exercises?

yes u can. in fact for woman it does better because of the high fats composition.

also, do it for better health, for ur family and kids :)

as u can see in my pic im not 6 packs. but i do alot of leg raises, either lying down or hung on the pull up bar.

and i do some crunches....and some planking... and thats it.
unfortunately to achieve the ripped magazine level 6 packs... takes a mountain of effort...which i have yet to achieve.

hey, dumbbells are just easy shortcuts for lazy ppl like me.
u can always try bodyweight exercises. Youtube Bar Brothers.

Can I don't wan muscle btw

hey, muscles dont mean bulging ones. women can also tone their body for a more shapely figure.

I hit the gym like 2x a week too.

do (squats, bench and deadlift) or (squats, overhead lift and row). 2 warmup set for each exercise, then followed by 5 sets. It's called the 5x5 exercise I think.

but I don't have that nice body yet leh... maybe its cause of my diet... I don't really follow any strict diet, just eat whatever my mum cooks lol.

hmm....

firstly, im 9 years in the gym. so it is actually quite small for a 9yr gym goer.

my metabolism rate is not very high i guess....so what i eat can either become muscles or stored as fats.

protein is important. the way u lift is also important. u need to lift to SPURT muscle growth... which is why most of my exercises are short and sweet, but takes my breath away.

there is a window period of 45mins after a very strenuous workout. take that chance and drink ur protein shake. for me i would just take 100% australian milk.

i tried the 5x5... unfortunately doesnt go well with my injured back. but i still do half squats and full squats.

and i hope to train my core muscles through bodyweight training.

5x5 is a power oriented training for beginners, its not for sculpting
