Hi bolt . my network now sibeh jialat... Only 2m and 1m SPD...

I even got issue with connecting 2com with wireless..

I used my laptop to test the router...firstly with wireless side by side is approx 35mbps..than 40 cm away... I get any 30mbps... Finally I use direct connection... I get 98 Mbps Pureplan..

May I know issit bcos my M15 gg?? Or it was built with very limited range.. My room to router is approx 8 m max... 1 wall only.

Bro, the wireless speed seems decent for N15u.
It's always best to go wired. Else you can consider getting dual band routers.

Hi Genjutz,

For N15U it only has 2.4GHz, which, for the speed at 35Mbps you're getting is consider normal.

You may wish to refer to the chart below:

Thanks jamescy & Bolts :)

As Bolts has mentioned, it is due to the wireless, tbh, not everyone can get godlike speed on 2.4ghz due to the amount of interference is relatively unpredictable.
5ghz will get you a better wireless connection (provided your equipment has the receiver)

same here. Connection down since 4.30pm.

Call customer service. Same stuffs: Have you tried direct connection to ONT; power recycling; refresh IP....

Do you think I never tried all these before calling?

experienced network outage, tried accessing from 8pm to 9.50pm.
done my troubleshooting (power cycle ont, wireless router, pc many times)
can get ip from MR, can ping this ip.
ping test to gateway, many drop packets, response time over 1800ms.
call helpdesk, can't get through, all engaged.
tried online chat on 3G.
agent advised power cycle ont and stuff. finally advised to try direct connect to ont port 1.
got a new ip, can online now.
power cycle ont, wireless router.
PC can get the same new ip, can online.
so is dhcp issue, ip conflict or gateway issue?

Hi zzz_hole,

Believe you were chatting with me on Live Chat earlier. Is your wireless router working on port 1 ONT connection now after restarting? It may be a router fault.
