Using NS45 vouchers

Can you use them directly at the shops e.g. Courts, NTUC, Cold Storage, etc or do you need to go to the cashier to exchange for their vouchers first BEFORE you can use?

I know for Capitaland and Fraser you need to exchange for their vouchers, but not sure about shops.

NTUC accepts them directly provided you show IC. My mother presented my father's NTUC card (got photo and IC no.) when she used his vouchers there, so my father didn't have to turn up.

For shopping malls, yes you need to exchange vouchers. But for individual merchants stated in the guide, you don't have to change vouchers.

Must show NRIC hor. Some ngeow cashier don't accept the vouchers even if you present the NRIC when the owner is not there.

so its subject to them de ba.

Precisely. Some ngeow cashier machiam scared like hell when accepting the vouchers..

The emart at SAFRA Mt Faber accepts the NS45 vouchers, but not Chevron's emart, pls take note.
