I should be getting this in lieu of ASUS Fonepad to replace my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0! :s12:

(only if the price is right)

getting sick of touchwiz liao lol
I'm rather sick of it too, but with 90% physical screen real estate, 80% battery charge capacity and just 60% weight of typical 7 inch phablet with thin horizontal bezel for easy handheld (+ multi-view) makes it very compelling for phablet lovers. :s12:

Just tried holding my wallet (having similar width) and it feels damn ergonomic on my XXL palm! Even better than Note II! Hopefully it will be as mid-range as it claimed to be when it comes to pricing.. :o

YMMV..................................................................:s22:
Nowadays people don't really keep their phones (AFA smart ones) into pocket do they? Have just seen too many people holding them together with their wallet/purse on the go...

I prefer it to be in my pocket, don't feel secure holding it as it just makes you a big target for snatch thefts.......................................................................:s22:

Unless I'm jogging, i won't hold it in my hands............................................................:s22:

Oh forgot to mention its 233 ppi is same as on my Galaxy S i9000 (as well as Galaxy S III Mini)! :s12:

But i seriously find it pretty unwise for Samsung to release such giant phones that would annihilate demand and sales for Note II...

And hopefully they wouldn't use the same lower end PLS as my Galaxy Tab 2. :o

Cause by putting your wallet/phone in your pants pocket it will :

1) Create discomfort as it may trap heat, and that walking may be less comfortable especially with more people wearing tighter pants.
2) Asthestically unpleasant with the big buldge beside your crotch taking the spotlight away from your crotch :s12:
3) Some phones are just... too big to fit in some pockets

But i still keep my S3 in my back pocket if i can. :s12:
Holding it in my hand all the way isn't really that fun. :s12:

With the announcement of Intel Haswell R series with GT3e graphics, do you guys think motherboard makers will release DIY motherboard solutions with those processors embedded?

Honestly i think Phablets are just stupid and pointless. Phones should just be capped at 4.5" and that's that. Any higher and the phone gets rather hard to use with 1 hard actually.

the 4.8" on my s3 is actually quite hard to use, though i can 勉強 use it. But again yeah... Watching movies on the big screen is good. :s13: The only pro i can think of.

Don't judge me, just being me. :s13:

elaborate plan on how to fold @ school when i go back

step 1: find out if i can piggyback on their internet
step 2: if yes, move on to step 4
step 3: time my arrivals and departures carefully such that the computer is always able to download a new work unit before I leave for the night. minimizing downtime is crucial.
step 4: set up a 2-3 computer system. Depending on circumstances, i will cart my bedroom rig there to fold SMP + 6870, and the H61 i found will be doing 6850 GPU only. The third rig will be my laptop and it will be a 24/7 FahMon client watching over the other two rigs so that they can fold headlessly. Less clutter is good.
step 5: look into ventilation. the A/V store is literal hell when it comes to airflow. no windows (well windows that are jammed) and doors that only open when people retrive stuff. which is once a week. Will have to look into providing adequate ventilation even if it means wiring up the place.

welp, all this just to fold on free electricity...
