hi all....I did the recovery USB drive n swap to SSD but...the recovery dun seems to work, keep getting the error that no image can be found for recovery after using the USB drive to boot..... tot of doing a clean installation but the windows 8 CD key not provided right? the drivers also not available on samsung web.... can help?

I think you need to go into bios and off some security options.. think secure boot or something... can go google and read it up on a forum. there a guy who install a clean installation of win 7 but before that he need to check some settings in the bios.

New Series 7 Chronos user or AMD Graphic card users, any idea how to see if i am using the AMD graphic card or Intel HD 4000?

I dont know how to play with the switchable graphic control, unlike last time when im using AMD, can just pick the graphic card i want to use

(around the mid section where it says - While the Radeon HD 8870M often places itself above the GeForce GTX 660M ... AMD's model is even defeated by the GeForce GT 650M in other cases. The graphics card seems to (still) have problems particularly with Unreal Engine 3 (Borderlands 2 & Dishonored)).

and the table below shows that the med-ultra fps for assasin's creed 3 is in the red zone.

So confirm cant play assassin's creed 3 smoothly in ultra settings? it is one of my favourite game

because im considering getting this or the asus n56vz.

if u have budget for this beast, get ASUS ROG G55 or G75 for full gaming needs

when will amd release driver and even then will it be better for gaming than g75's nvidia gpu. cos nvidia seems better than amd for gaming

I bought mine for 1999 and i told the person i dont want any freebies but change to SSD for me, and they say can change to 128gb for free, but i topped up another 150 for 256gb and it comes with 1year warrranty..

Becareful if you want to change to SSD, the back casing is very very fragile and easy to crack

Great idea to go for the 256GB since Samsung hidden partitions for recovery and other stuff takes up a whopping 40.8 GB.

Actually i took a 32gb thumbdrive there and request for the staff to allow me to do a factory image to my thumbdrive using recovery mode by pressing F4, then it took 1hour+

and after that, you can ask him to swap SSD for you and then boot to recovery using thumbdrive and do a recovery to the SSD
