I doubt v.Persie and Carrick themselves care about these individual awards much really. What matters most is they are the ones who get to lift the PL trophy and having that winners medal on their necks when it's all said and done :s34:

Anyway i will be surprised if Spurs get beat tomorrow

This.
The team esp RvP just wants the EPL winner medal. Getting personal award is just a bonus. Unlike the Poo team, can't win anything so just grasping at straws to endorse their player to win something.:s13::s13:

Somehow the ABUs are enraged that Carrick and Welbeck are nominated cause their team score more goals or/and Welbeck only manage 1 goal this season and attributes it to FA being under Fergie influence.:s13: I thought PFA awards are votes by their peers.

Still playing Kagawa out of position. Hoping next season he gets to play in his favoured position. Might as well play X'mas tree formation and play both Rooney and Kagawa behind RvP with 3 central midfielders, fullback with license to run forward.

Manchester United are starting to benefit from Shinji Kagawa's composure on the ball, according to Sir Alex Ferguson.

The £12m summer signing has started just 14 times in his first Premier League season, and a knee injury suffered in the autumn kept him out for two months.

But amid a stop-start campaign Kagawa has managed a hat-trick against Norwich, and his two assists at West Ham in midweek took United a point closer to their 20th English title.

Ferguson said: "He's doing very well for us now. He has fantastic composure on the ball and his decision-making is good.

"He seems to always pick the more sensible pass and for the first goal at West Ham he had the composure to take the player on in a tight area and roll the ball to Antonio Valencia for a tap-in."

Rooney will earn his landmark 400th appearance for United in his next game. Will he score a hat-trick (a landmark 200th goal) against Aston Villa at OT on Tues morning, and in the process, earn us the title?

I read this article today SoccerPunter.com - Manchester United’s Rooney not for sale

Do you guys think that Rooney will leave Man United?

Rooney left 2 yrs in his contract. He is asking for re-neg to a new one that will see him play out the rest of his career with us.

However, SAF is in no hurry to go into a contract neg with him yet.

Will him leave?? I think 25%. If people like shearer just shut up his mouth. But i don't think he will leave. :)

He only asking for an extension of contract till the rest of career. This means a 5 year contract till he is 32, then thereafter is annual renewal policy. I don't see why he cannot get that contract. He is happy. His family is in the Northeast. He will not go City (London not sure, but doubt SAF will sell to immediate rivals). So naturally, its quite a simple contract extension process which will happen at the summer...unless got ppl tempt with a 60mP offer. But again, Rooney's family roots are in UK. He is very unlikely to move abroad.

I see he can play a Scholes role until late 30s. All he needs to do is to perfect wide range of passing through training.

Apart from ourselves as the prime culprit, the two teams that contributed to our down fall on last season are destined to go down to Championship Division on next season.

QRP 0 Stoke 2
West Ham 2 Wigan 0
