Don't underestimate the mental part of the game. Having to give a GOH to opponents, and a CL place to fight for, can be a lot different from... a possible record haul of points? Arsenal was clearly more fired up in the first half. And if we didn't have "passion" we wouldn't have had so many yellows. Maybe just a tad more lethargic, after the celebrations and hangover.

I am one of those people who think of Rooney when people talk about United (players). Can't believe this is possible. Last time he almost left when he held the club ransom, indicating he wanted improvements and changes to the team (and maybe higher salary), was when he was performing well & driving the team on. Now, he is just different.
