I think most of the fans just feel sad that Rooney requested to transfer for the 2nd time but if he really wants to leave then all the best to him

i also dun uds y the need to hate him, and also calling for the fans that were supporting him before SAF spoke abt his request. behaviors of the poo fans not tolerated here hor. :p

Ya ya, if a player of man utd wanna leave just let them be and think of the commitment and time they did for man utd

diff ba bro..rooney is icon :(

yes it's different, he's requesting to be transferred for his best interest (at least thats how SAF puts it, he wants to play and want his preferred position that SAF nv gave him)
that's why im saying people that request it in heinze fashion (even Tevez if you want) should deserve the sting, not Rooney.

he still did well overall every season even though deployed all around the field right?
but like i said his request was towards SAF, now Moyes comes in he might reconsider his request.
Unless of cos he thinks he had enough at United and wants to go somewhere else to earn bigger dollars.

no hard feelings, cos players come and go. these days can't find 1club player anymore. it's all about money at the end of the day. it will be silly to offer him 300k to stay, and probably keep him for another year before he request to leave again.
that alone is 14.4mil which we can finance another player already.

if anyone watch last nite game the panels are saying saf did moyes a favor by axing wayne out if the squad. and now he said wayne submit transfer request.

so now fans are booing rooney during the presentation and all expect him
or wanted him to leave.
saved moye the tricky task of handling this issue.
but if rooney eventually stayed and decided that he has unfinish biz with the team, all fans
will credit moyes for making up with wayne and convinced him to stay.

once again well done gaffer.

For the Brothers..

" Sir Alex, you have not only be the greatest football manager of all, you have be my remote and psychic teacher who has continuously instill strong positive values in me and provided a gigantic positive reference. Thanks for walking through large part of my life with me since my days of youth-hood , adulthood and of current middle age. Thanks for the selfless, dedicated, committed and enormous football times that you have given to me. In you, I trust....MANCHESTER IS ALWAYS RED"

but even if he stays... will e fans support him? no one i remember has ever asked for TWO transfer requests from us before.. instead of fighting for his place n getting fitter, all he does is to take e easy way out.. what happened to e wayne of old who wld fight for every ball, or in this case, fight for e right to be in e team?

i say sell him, get e money, n get someone in.. like bale or lewandowski or even ronnie back

like i said before ... Wayne's the sort who feels he needs to be the talisman, one of the star players, needs to feel wanted, important ... useful. he's very emo one ... easily swayed by what people close to him says ....
if he feels secured and vital ... he will play until he drops for you ... but like all things, his mood swings comes in cycles ...
there are other thing I NOT SURE ABOUT :
1) when is his contract due ?
2) iirc he was trying to get a recontract earlier this season ... imho, if your current one still has some time to go ... it can only mean one thing ... asking for more $ ... usually ... or to secure his future well into his 30s (retirement plan sort of ... so in the event, major injury at later age, "secured for life" cos club still have to pay wages and medical right ?
3) is Rooney still the top paid player, now with RVP in tow ? how much is RVP getting ? maybe Roo feels bcos of this, he needs salary adjustments ....

i'm sure Moyes will not be thinking of Rooney just yet ... not at least until he has lined up and secured a quality replacement ... it'd be nonsense to let him go for xM and then be held to ransom xM +yM for another player bcos everyone knows we are seeking a replacement ...

as to whether the fans will support him ... it all depends on Moyes ....
if Moyes wishes to work with Rooney, then i'm sure United fans will continue to support Wayne ... not for Wayne, but more for Moyes ...
but should he then cross swords with Moyes later ... that will be when the straw will break the camel's back ....
stay tune till then ............ i hope to see if Moyes is allowed to have a say in the Rooney saga (and not the board) ... it ought to be his first real test with us ........

RVP how much ... and how long ?

one thing is ... Wayne's only 27 ... just approaching players' peak :s13:

now football throws crazy $$ around ...
if we were not United, but some billionaire own club ... give him 300K ... what then when he really hits his peak ? give 350K ? :s13: :s13:

crazy :s22:
when most season ticket holder i think only makes a fraction of that salary ... in a year !!! :s22:

if it is a matter of getting subbed, asking for a transfer sounds very petulant. that being said, it is also very rash to force him out of the club if he has made a misinformed and hurried transfer request.

if rooney reconsiders and still insists on wanting out, there will be, quite frankly, no love lost. it is a shame that this news broke out on the day we're crowned champions of england for the 20th time and retirement of two legends.

i rmb seeing 1 video, after he won the title i think at aberdeen, when interviewed at the pitch he said the performance was a disgrace.
harsh words even though everyone was celebrating but that's his competitiveness, hopefully his mantra lives on and carried on to Moyes.

i think its the work of agents again. PSG Real coming for him, with big money terms.
