Nope he is a Singapore local & I feel it's weird too because he choose business and hospitality and half of the courses are business related.
Anyone still waiting for NTU reply???
Appeals start on 15 May but I haven't received any news...
Called them today but the person said I just got to wait...
Like that then quite weird..
Although Business this year like very competitive but if worst case cannot get business at least he will get his other choice..
Want to ask huh..
If appeal for NTU course which course have highest chance?
EEE, Comp Engg, Comp Sci..
Although my interest is Comp Engg..
Until now still no news quite scare..
Just got called up today for NTU soci interview coming thurs! Super nervous and would appreciate anyone's reply regarding their interview experience. Email said there'll be written test and interview, what should I expect/how to prep?
G'luck for everyone else waiting!!! PRAY TO YOUR ANCESTORS!!!! :>
just got a letter from SMU saying they reviewed my application and it wasn't successful
so this is the rejection letter right?
they make it sound like my application is so bad.. my appeal will be useles..
The rejection letter is a template. Don't take it to heart. Just appeal. No harm.
NTU intake / 10th percentile COP
EEE: 606 / 3.47
CE: 89 / 3.6
CS: 246/ 3.54
based on the intake and COP, CE would be harder cause of the smaller intake. Don't forget, there's other ppl with higher GPA waiting for offer or appeal to CE.
IMHO, always appeal a course that is easier to gain entry (If one has yet to recieve any offer from that uni)

Hi. i was offered by SMU last week and yet I have been studying in a private uni and will graduate next year.FYI, i was rejected last year. Is it worth time to take the offer?

TAKE IT! haha. well, this is just my personal opinion. there must be a reason you applied in the first place right? Give 10 students in private uni a spot in local uni, 9 of them will surely take it unless the course is not of their interest. I think its worth, you only 'burn' one year in a sense. If you were from a JC, you would be in the same year as the poly people in your batch which is not too bad.
My grades are not fantastic, CCD/C ABB so I was really elated to get the call/prior email to send in supporting documents. Interview probably under NAA so I guess extra activities don't hurt! Was rejected last year so didn't rly expect much but seemed like NTU is more lenient as my friend got offered science with CCC/D! Don't lose hope okay!!! I will just keep hoping as well for that A4 envelope..... :bHey! Congrats!
What are your results like?
Errr...he said that he is gonna grad next year.
Smu business...Yea. What was your first choice?
Still think you should give it a shot and appeal though...
If compare CE and CS leh?
CS is any diploma holder can apply..
CE is only relevant diploma can apply..
Will this affect the chance?
Now based on the intake and COP..
EEE like most easy to get in..
But the crazy math in EEE..![]()
