Thank you so much, Paul. I have absolutely no clue so I will follow your lead and cash out too. Are you going to sell off your MIIF too?

Yes. Of cos, eventually I would. In any case, the fund is winding down; so if an opportunity to offload in the market comes along, I will do it.

Price of MIIF will drop after it begin trading. (how much i dunno)

Just an assumption, if the CE(entitlement is $0.40 per share) and if MIIF price starts trading this Friday (May 17) at $0.43. (close @ $0.63, which is a drop of 0.20)

investors will only get 0.40-0.20 = $0.20 per share right?

I think it should drop around 41 cents after entitlement, which is the value of TBC in each share of MIIF. I think you got the numbers the other way around. :/

wow, 0.41 drop from 0.63. Then MIIF will be left with only $0.22 or so when start trading

Then the entitlement better be more than $0.41. Otherwise give 0.41 but drop 0.41 is the same as not giving any CE at all....

We will only know how much entitlement we get tomorrow. If the preliminary prospectus shown gives a dividend yield of 8-9%, which is close to the current yield of TBC in MIIF then i think we will get 41 cents provided that the gearing level remains the same. If APTT took up more debt then we will have more money.

I think MIIF management trying to appease the big shareholders that cannot cash out of their holdings without causing a significant drop in market price. Lets hope that the management try to earn more fees from divestment and help us fight for a good cash entitlement!

@w1rbelw1nd - ya, will see how much the CE will be. Will most likely be holding onto MIIF after everything. Hope for further divestment down the line.

APTT issue price determined to be $0.97.
But still no news of the number of units MIIF unit holders are getting.

every MIIF is entitled to $0.4436 if select to receive cash.

it is just slightly better than the $0.408 min valuation announced earlier.

Itsnt it 44.329 cents per share? At least that is what the example given in the announcement says!

44.36 cts/share is without round off, 44.329 cts is with round off based on 1K share in the example.

the 1.9 cts in "Div Guidance" is inclusive of TBC contribution 0.7 cts.

after divestment, HNE & CXP will contribute on 1.2 cts/share/year.

based on last traded price of 63 cts before suspension, MIIF price logical price to be 63-44.36=18.64 cts.

with 1.2 cts dividend, the yield of MIIF drop to 6.44%
