According to my friend who has used their service last year, they do not ask for the credit card for verification.

true... that driver say no need see card, no need to sign anything or whatever so... if the driver ask, just say forget to bring loh.... i dun think the driver care so much, as long as he is paid by the company/UOB...

cos UOB have to confirm that u spend first before proceed with booking mah...

I just use last Sunday. Confirmed the driver won't check.

And this is really a super big maxicab. Somewhat like a 8-seater private minibus. Really huge, unlike ANZ merc limousine.

Take note the limousine is only valid within 3 months from payment.

Example you pay today 15/5/2013
The flight should not be after 15/8/2013

I'm guessing the type of cab depends on the number of passengers and luggage and cab availability on the time/date of pickup.

Nope. I booked for one pax, with 2 check in luggage only.

Same for my friend. We both sat a huge vehicle each.

Is it a must to charge at least $500 for travel related booking for the limousine service? Do UOB check?

I'm sure they do as they will probably need to verify your transactions before arranging for the service with their 3rd party provider. I haven't tried the service yet though.

I'm sorry but what is the difference between prvi and pp since both collects points? If holding to both, how shall one use to maximise points?

It is the earn rate that is the difference between the 2 cards. You can use both to maximise the points. Suggest you go through this thread and the PP Visa thread, it will be a good read.

understand, am reading it through now.

PRVI is abit misleading, saying that it earns 1.6miles PER dollar, but in actual its earning 4 uni$ per 5 dollar.

So if we charge 4.99 we get nothing.

Am i right?

Yes, that's right. All UOB cards are the same, they give rewards in units per $5.

Yes and in fact uob worse in the sense it calculate the points per transactions. Extreme example. If you charge 4.99 one thousand times to a total of 4999,you get zero points.

Every bank calculate their points per transaction.

Calculating in $5 blocks means that small transactions are worse off, but for larger transactions, the difference is minor. Besides, one good thing about UOB is that all the points from all your cards are pooled together by default. Makes it easy to redeem.
