why cant reits continue to outperform the market?

anywhere i can learn more about the fundamental analusis u mentioned?

a very simple analogy is, nobody lives forever.

or another way to look at it is, people will buy things that are cheap and sell things which are expensive. so if reits continue to outperform, that means reits are getting overvalued. there will be other classes of stocks which are less overvalued. so it makes sense to sell reits and buy the cheaper classes of stocks.
