• 11:55AM Arrive @ Taoyuan Int Airport
• Bus or rail to Taipei? How much and time difference?
• Check-in hotel Puri @ XMD
• Explore MRT regions Longshanshi, etc
• Ximending NM

Day 2 (07/10/13 Monday)

• Metro to Taipei Main station
• Check-in City Inn @ TMS
• Taipei Metro to danshui
• Danshui lao jie
• Danshui lover bridge and fisherman wharf
• Shilin NM

Day 3 (08/10/13 Tuesday)

• Taipei TRA to Ruifang then to Jiufen lao jie
• Explore Pingxi Line
• Jinguashi
• Shifen old street
• Shifen waterfall
• Shifen Kongmingdeng

Day 4 (09/10/13 Wed)

• Yehliu Geopark in the morning
• Chia Te
• Wufenpu (houshanpi station MRT)
• Raohe NM
• Enough time to get to all this places in 1 day?

Day 5 (10/10/13 Thur)

• HSR to Taichung
• Check-in hotel
• Bus to Sun Moon Lake
• Back to taichung Feng Jia NM

Day 6 (11/10/13 Fri)

• Cingjing
• Bus or private taxi to cingjing in the morning? Need more details on this.
• Check-in minsu (Starry house?)
• Explore Cingjing for the rest of the day

Day 7 (12/10/13 Sat)

• Check- out hotel in the morning
• Bus back to Taichung or straight to taoyuan airport?
• 4:45PM flight back to SG

Is this itinerary alright? Should i visit taichung/cingjing first then to taipei instead?
Any recommendation of the minsu in cingjing and also hotel at taichung? Will be going as a couple.

  Kuoguang Bus direct at NT$125/pax, about 45mins. Rail wise u have to U-Bus to Taoyuan HSR Station(NT$30/pax, 25mins) then HSR To TMS(NT$160/pax and about 21mins)
• Check-in hotel Puri @ XMD
• Explore MRT regions Longshanshi, etc
• Ximending NM
  Reach XMD after 5pm

Day 2 (07/10/13 Monday)

• Metro to Taipei Main station
• Check-in City Inn @ TMS
  Check-in is 3pm if rooms nt ready yet. Deposit luggage and go.
• Taipei Metro to danshui
• Danshui lao jie
• Danshui lover bridge and fisherman wharf
• Shilin NM

Day 3 (08/10/13 Tuesday)

• Taipei TRA to Ruifang then to Jiufen lao jie
  To go Jiufen, u gonna take a bus up. About 15mins from opp Ruifang Train Station main entrance.And shops around here opens at 1130-1200.
• Explore Pingxi Line
• Jinguashi
• Shifen old street
• Shifen waterfall
• Shifen Kongmingdeng
  I reco Jinguashi first(Reach about 0930H) then Jiufen Old Street. By the time you're done for this 2 + lunch. About 3pm already. Train on Pingxi Line comes at an interval of about 1/hr. Waterfall close at about 430 or 530. Nt free and quite some distance from Shifen Station. I reckon you skip this. Looking at ur time frame, at most 2 stops including Shifen but excluding Waterfall.

Day 4 (09/10/13 Wed)

• Yehliu Geopark in the morning
• Chia Te
• Wufenpu (houshanpi station MRT)
• Raohe NM
• Enough time to get to all this places in 1 day?
  I reco moving WFP and Raohe to Day 3 after Jiufen. Shifen/Pingxi down to this day.This night can end with Keelung's Miaokou NM

Day 5 (10/10/13 Thur)

• HSR to Taichung
• Check-in hotel
• Bus to Sun Moon Lake
• Back to taichung Feng Jia NM

Day 6 (11/10/13 Fri)

• Cingjing
• Bus or private taxi to cingjing in the morning? Need more details on this.
• Check-in minsu (Starry house?)
• Explore Cingjing for the rest of the day

Day 7 (12/10/13 Sat)

• Check- out hotel in the morning
• Bus back to Taichung or straight to taoyuan airport?
• 4:45PM flight back to SG
  Bus to Taichung and then HSR to Taoyuan and bus to airport.

Is this itinerary alright? Should i visit taichung/cingjing first then to taipei instead?
You should head straight to Cingjing when u touch down stay for the night, then to Taichung and stay for the night.
Any recommendation of the minsu in cingjing and also hotel at taichung? Will be going as a couple.
Cingjing no reco. Taichung go Cityinn Taichung.

Hi thanks for the valuable information.

You recommend us to head straight to cingjing straight after touch down. Is there any bus/private car available at the airport to cingjing? Also will there be enough time to explore cingjing since i believe we will reach there in the late afternoon.

Also regarding Keelung's Miaokou NM. It only open on wed night? Reason i put jiufen and shifen together is because they are around the same area and will save time traveling? Will it be better if we swap day 3 and day 4 activity?

Private car?? Dont think there's any..Gonna be costly..You can take HSR straight to Taichung then bus over to cab over from there..And you wont really reach late noon..More like 12-1pm..

Miaokou NM is open every night. With your current plan for Day 3, you cant do all of it. If you insist then skip Waterfall and just add in another stop other than Shifen. Jiufen early morning also nothing anyway so best to head to Jinguashi first.

You can keep to the Day 3 and 4 plans thou but take note of what i mentioned in blue earlier on.

And also why most of us would suggest heading out first and ending at Taipei is becos that is where all the shopping to going to be done. You wouldnt wana drag a luggage full of ur own stuff + shopping around..

Nope. We took the morning 8AM flight and reach in the afternoon by jetstar instead. Guess really no choice got to travel to cingjing with all the shopping stuff from taipei unless manage to squeeze in taichung/chingjing first.

Use to like that timing cos no other options..Now that Flyscoot and JS got that 0055 and 0115H timing, i would always go with that especially if i'm heading out 1st thing after touchdown.

Sure wan SML??? Kinda like a tiongs paradise nowadays..
