What type of flooring tiles for HDB?

Depends on personal preference and budget.
Mine is wood laminate for bedrooms and ceramic for living.

recommend homogenous tiles for living rm/kitchen
bedroom is ur preference

of cos, budget plays a part

I've always liked parquet but obviously it scratches easily. Consider that too. If you're rough or have kids, better not.

same like u. but dunno if wood laminate hard to maintain? btw, wood laminate is not real wood right?

cannot tell HDB not to put tiles in the Kitchen and Toilet right? That means if want change tiles must hack the tiles which will incur alot of workmanship cost with the contractor.

No cannot..

Toilet 1st 3 years cannot hack..Can overlay niax..Cos of waterproofing..

Ok. Quite crappy. Should have a opt out scheme as well. Opt out floor and wall tiles for kitchen, service yard and toilet.

But if ur waterproofing nt good enough and water leaks down into the unit below urs, you gonna repair ur side and the unit below u..

Maintenance is easy about the same as ceramic. Only thing I try to do when mopping is to have it too wet.

They are easy to replace as no hacking is needed.

Mainly I like them as they are not so harsh and easier on the feet as hard floors.

i was imagining marble for living room and parquet for rooms...

but then again.. that's only my imagination because need to maintain + marble v exp
