Just realize Mega 5.8 does not have haptic feedback. Not necessarily a deal breaker though. Not sure for 6.3.

6.3 has. Also 5.8 don't have LED right? Super budget phone features.

agreed too unless your hand able to accept the boxy design then ok to accept sony phone

this is why I atill a samsung user due to more ergomics design

Bought a Mega 6.3 earlier this wk and sold off my Note 2.

Well, it may be dual core, have 1.5GB RAM etc but it certainly does not seem mid-range to me. Though it is huge, I can still compose SMS/What's App with 1 hand...barely though.

Watching video & browsing web on the LCD screen is pure pleasure. Batt life is comparable to Note 2 (ie can last through the day on mild usage).

I am very happy with this phone so far. If a big screen, gd batt life & LTE connectivity is a must for you, then Mega 6.3 IS the one!

The display is actually above average. I am playing temple run 2 and it works flawless. No lag, able to run smoothly.

This phone have 11gb available to user which is more than what s4 can offer.

The ui doesnt experience the same "slow" as s4 as well. No need to change the launcher.

Try playing iron-man 3 in later stages and see if the speed or frames are affected cos whenever I use certain samsung hardware apart from note 2 or S4 to play the frames start to get choppy in later stages when action gets rough.

Anyone here have the phone restart by its own? So far it autorestart 3 times. Got this phone for 3 days oni. Then 1 day the phone went besesek. Just pressing a letter on the keyboard will spam 4 or 5 times the same letter. Need to restart.

U have 11gb to install apps. U need to start clearing stuff on ur note.

Haven't met with any restart yet. Can u do a factory reset? Do remember to check whether u have the latest software installed on ur phone.

Yeah, no restart problem too. Do factory reset and try again. If the problem doesn't go away, I guess a visit to Samsung Service Centre is required.

Assuming inserting a pre-paid sim card without internet access, and a monthly paid internet card (sim card on the dongle type), can the phone use both sim cards continuously to call/receive sms and also surf internet? With the same account under whatspp, other apps? (having one registered number - I guess with the pre-paid card).

both sims are active, so can receive calls and sms.

for internet, you choose which sim for internet access.

as for whatsapp, it is tied to the phone and whichever number you key in when you activate whatsapp.
