did you try the entry level STAX headphones? I think it was the SRS 2170 system. IMO it was very good - perhaps suffering a bit on bass, as one would expect. This model is either going to be out of production soon or the production will move to a country from where I will not really buy a STAX. I guess you know who bought the STAX company.

Prolly going to JP for vacation to attend next yr's Tokyo headphone fest then carry my box over let him sign liao. Seriously quite a pity wasn't able to meet him tday. If I had known i would have gone for the event during the 1st day.

It's a pity really. He looks like a really nice guy, but just couldn't converse because of the language barrier. It's okay I sign your PF IX box for you.

Have to agree from the twitter pics I Sasaki-san shared and those japanese magazine coverages i saw, Mr. Kanemori Takai seemed like a really nice man. I was also extremely touched by the friendly and humble Mr. Keita Suyama-san as well at Suyama booth, it was nice chatting with him abt Monet/Parterre's signature though half of the time i was using broken japanese. (my speaking ability is much more lousier usually than my reading ability)
