that will be to increase depth to the midfield. replacing scholes/carrick it will not.

dun really need to increase depth except we lack dm cos all is attacking mid. we got kagawa, anderson, cleverley, giggs, carrick, lingard, januzaj, powell.

No, what i meant was, if we are talking about replacement for Scholes or successor to Carrick, Moyes isn't in SAF shoes that he can buy a 'Cristiano' and see if he gets lucky.
He may not have the luxury of time.
That's why the more known players like Fabregas/Modric are targets because he needs someone that's bigger than cleverley powell anderson and say "he's playing today".

unless there's a "unknown yet ******* good" central/defensive midfielder out there.:s8:

That's what i meant by if it's just tom dick harry, it will only increase squad depth. And United already have a lot of youth, so Moyes won't be looking in that area.

Again it's been a while since I'm looking forward to a youngster making it, and to me, Januzaj and Lingard sure have done enough to prove that they are interested in having a go at the challenge of the EPL. If anything, the lack of depth in our defence might do us no favours again.

DM wants someone to say this..

"You will never win anything without any new marquee signings"....then go on an win the league with the current squad...

The only way he can break out of SAF's shadow and create his own legacy.

your views might be different but our mf is simply not good enough to play in ucl or even play against man c and chelsea.
unless cleverley gets possessed by keano.
no way hes gonna boss the midfield and have that fear aura.
dont even think anderson is close unless he starts training seriously, which he said he would.

I have to agree. Alot of battles are won in midfield. If we really depend on Cleverly and Anderson, they will need to find their form like they did two seasons ago. Provided they stay injury free. If need be, please give Januszaj and Lingard a chance

Wazza : "really? What do I have to do?"

Six Alex : "it is simple, really. 1st you act like a big baby..."

Wazza :  "Tell me more..."

i forgot to add that, my post was based on Old Trafford sources, (my fren went there on a holiday, texted me that when he walked pass OT) :s13:

He added that, while United officials flew to Madrid for talks, the media were so sure that Ronaldo's move will not materialize, and that Moyes had recently failed to capture Fabregas, so they assume that the officials were there for Ozil or Modric; which he also confirmed that it isn't true it is definitely a discussion over the old boy.

'I'm not going anywhere so neither is he' were the words of Coleen Roo when someone I know saw her in Wilmslow. Whatever that means #mufc

Old Trafford source. whether its a cleaner inside, the ballboy, the gardener, or just some fan who went in to use the toilet. But it definitely came from "inside Old Trafford" literally

scully its Kaká

:s13:

get him for 1-2years.. remember Henrik Larsson?

saw a article about playing rooney and kagawa together.
getting 2 strong midfielder is still the most ideal for Moyes. why?
because he can play a 4-3-2-1
e.g. Carrick Fellaini XXXXX to make up the 3 in midfield, filling Rooney+Kagawa for the 2 playmaker, and RvP as the main striker.

current squad will be very dangerous to play this formation because the midfield is weak.
