Yes I called up KLM customer service. Apparently it's their policy now to charge each air ticket separately to the credit card even if it's all within the same booking/ transaction. So checking out is fine, shows the total bill but not the actual billing. Btw they charge $20 for credit card payment online too.

I see, thanks for the info. Scoot also charges a $20 credit card processing fee. Jetstar I think is $9 but you can pay via vbox.com.sg to avoid that charge (though I have never done that before).

It's quite common in Europe, eg Lufthansa also doing the same there.
I guess KLM just decided to do the same in other countries incl Singapore as well. Doesn't really surprise me as KLM somehow learns one or two tricks from Budget airlines, like charging for baggage.

As for separate tickets issuance and payment booking, Im pretty sure other airlines are doing it also, including SQ

Never encountered SQ or CX doing it before. Heck, even scoot doesn't do it even though they charge a service fee for CC payments.

does anyone know if i can get points for paying via the following:

1) GIRO (filling up the GIRO form)
2) Paying billing organisation online (using the Personal Internet Banking)

e.g. If I fill in SP Services' account on either of the above, do I get points for my payment?

Thanks!

1) Yes.
2) No, if you pay by your Bank's bill payment portal.

Hi all,
I am getting 6 tix from jetstar which will amount to 550 in total. Will I be able to enjoy the complimentary limousine and insurance? If yes, who do I contact to sign up for the insurance?

I don't think there's a need to "sign up" for the insurance. As long as you paid the air tickets using the card, you're covered.

As for the limousine service, it depends if Jetstar charges each ticket separately or combine as 1 charge. If it's charged separately, then you're out of luck.

Yes, just complete the form and send to UOB for processing:
http://www.uob.com.sg/assets/pdfs/personal/cards/billpayment_app.pdf

Prudential doesn't accept Amex so it won't work.

Fine print in the application form also mentions cards that are ineligible for prudential payment, which happens to be the Amex cards:

This facility is not applicable for UOB PRVI American Express Card, Preferred Platinum American Express Card and PRVI Miles Platinum American Express Card.

hi all,

if i have uob privi miles and uob preferred platinum mastercard, both cards will earn UNI$ in one account right?

so that means i can use the privi card to convert every UNI$ (even those UNI$ earned from UOB PP) into 2 miles by paying $25 conversion fees, without having to do the UNI$5000 to 10,000 miles option right?

1. All UNI$ from both cards go into same account.

2. The only way to redeem is UNI$ 5000 to 10000 miles, i don't know where you get the idea that you can redeem single UNI$, there are no such option even with Priv, i have these cards.
