Going KL for 3 nights very soon. Staying at the furama bukit bintang, had a great deal @ $75 all in for a deluxe room with breakfast. Going by coach from larkin, back via jetstar at KLIA.

Few questions.

1. Is there a mooncake fair there? Like the one in takashimaya. Might want to buy some mooncakes there- those hotel ones.

2. Any promo for sunway lagoon? 120rm is a bit expensive.

2a. Regarding sunway lagoon, is the go-kart there free or pay per ride?
Rates and operating hours at Malaysia Multi-park destination, Sunway Lagoon, Asia's Best Attraction, Kuala Lumpur

3. What is the cheapest way from bukit bintang to KLIA?

4. 500RM enough per person for 4 days 3 nights (excluding hotel, flight and coach ticket)

Thanks in advance.

Wow that's cheap. Hotelclub.com is 265 for superior room with breakfast, free upgrade. You booked from where lol...

From KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang, can take monorail train there, around 1.20Rm one way.

Furama Bukit Bintang is good. I stayed there before. New property owned by Singaporeans.

Within walking distance to Berjaya Times Square. You cross the road turn right then turn left and walk straight (4-7mins walk). I think most malls in KL got mooncake booths.

Enjoy your trip.

Only stayed before at Hotel Sentral Pudu (behind Furama 2min walk) , booked for 48 dollars one night two ppl, deluxe room with breakfast, still ok. Stayed at level 15, the highest floor, room looks clean, but toilet is very small.

Relieved to hear this! Reviews on tripadvisor weren't glowing. Is the location slightly seedy?

Thanks!

Hi,

2a. From the link you provided, the go kart is charged by per ride.

3. Take Monorail to KL Sentral and transfer to KLIA Express Train. Approx RM40.

4. V subjective. Depends on what you going to do there.

My question, why don't you take coach from Singapore directly?
So inconvenient to go to larkin and take coach to KL.

KLIA to KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang
If you alight at international airport, can take KLIA Express for 35RM one way or 25 RM one way (minimum 3 ppl if promo). Take 27minutes.
Then from KL Sentral take monorail to Bukit Bintang for 1.20RM or take cab :)

3. What is the cheapest way from bukit bintang to KLIA?

I tried a few of these services:
KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport), bus schedule : journeymalaysia.com
Some hotel stops are in Bukit Bintang.

Ah thanks, looks like the cheapest option.

If i take KLIA express, 35RM per pax, i'd rather take a cab to KLIA which is about 80RM.

600RM per person (2 person total) for 4 days 3 nights should be sufficient? Going there mostly to relax and eat. Eat the most important :s13: Most of the days will dine is restaurants (not those very atas ones, probably 50RM at most for dinner, 30RM for lunch) , maybe will also go hutong and alor just for the sake of trying. round off to 100rm a day, 3.5 days about 350rm.
120RM for sunway lagoon entry.
total 470RM round off to 500RM.
100RM excess safe? Or better bring a bit more? Probably won't spend so much on food but better estimate more than less.

Train faster if you want to reach KL Sentral faster.

if the road to KLIA got jammed, you might miss your flight so safe bet is KLIA express train. the train might be alil old (wear and tear here and there) but it will reach your destination on time and this weekend is start of school holidays so i think sunway lagoon will be v packed, my experience. hmm shld be more or less enough for your ringgits ba. just bring extra sgd there in case not enough then change there lo. not much of a difference in rates if you just change below sgd500.

My flight at KLIA is 1945, i leave hotel at 1645, safe? Or leave earlier safer?

Probably take cab or KLIA express.

Of course leaving earlier is safer. But I think you will do well with the KLIA Ekspres. Frequency is 15 min for your travel time. The schedule is fixed and easy to remember.
Schedule - KLIA Ekspres
