But anyway i heard joe's setup lah, and i can fully understand where he is coming from, and i would agree on the fact that there's synergy going on between the DX100 and Miracles.

I have personally tried the Miracles on my clip zip, J3, and AK100 and all sounded very off. even pairing with an amp with the miracles also buey zun. but some how on his setup, it is totally a different ciem liao le. so i can only conclude that it is pure synergy going on there.


Peeps who have heard my setup would also scratch their heads and think whats up with the presented sound when the AK100's 22ohm and my Merlin's 12ohm are paired together.

For one i believe that on paper, everything can be explained, but there are certain cases such as 'synergy' comes into play, like joe's (chop sign, i guarantee) or my setup (maybe, i need more feedbacks from people who are willing to listen to the setup).

Until today, I still cannot explain why the SE846 sounded so good on your AK100. Except that it had the accurate Shure SE535 sound signature, marginally improved in most aspects.

i am just wondering, you all tested fatal "rolex" is it a step up compared to the original ak100?
still haven have the chance to hear the different color of ak100

so far of all the people have tried my AK100... i think out of 5-6 pple, 1 individual said there isnt any difference.

but only 2-3 people who have heard my AK100+Merlin. one of which is an old sch rock uncle (bcoz at 50+++, still long hair and pony tail, plays the bass), said that my setup is too much of a poison.


anyway, if you guys sincerely want to give it a go, i personally dont mind with AK100 + my merlin (if can fit ur ears) + ur microsd card.

but wat i mind is make sure all your male connectors are clean.

i tink 846 was ok also. just not worth that price. probably a 899 will be a better price tag.

It still felt acceptable during the demo at E1, wasn't too much nor was it uncontrolled like my previous demo experiences at Mook/ConnectIT. However, I understood why the TG! 334's bass is more acceptable to many, due to the smooth decay and linear bass quanitity.

no lah, as in, we critique the sound 1st, dun put the price into the "evaluating" equation.

the sound to me is acceptable, and i personally feel that it is better than the 535 and/or 530.

but now if we put the price into the equation, then yes, abit bo hua. im looking at maybe 1099 or 999 would be a better pricing.
