Not sure whether stuff are really nice to eat, but certain looks more like SG style but spacious and huge but not as many stalls. In fact, you have to purchase a credit card in order to buy your food. Can refund any balance any time. Been there once on a Tuesday afternoon, but there were less than 10 of us in the food court. Food wise, personally, so so. My friend eat mixed vegetable rice while I eat Yang Tao Fu curry. The staff over seems to be only working for one boss, can move around serving other stalls.... Not sure true but when I was, that was what few of them were doing.

I think there is a western food stalls selling hot dog or something like that, no one was manning at that time. I thought It was closed. Price wise, more like SG shopping mall food court price MY style, slightly cheaper if convert to SG$, worth? You be the judge. However, I think some of the other restaurants located at level 6 seems to offer value for money, my colleague eaten there before and told me it is worth it, no point try food court.

I bought tap from Tesco, much cheaper than SG. But be warned, do not buy the cheaper version. I bought a basin tap for around SG$10, installed and use it for 2 days, took it off and replaced it with a local purchase one.

For years, my running water has never been brown colour but after changing to the TESCO one, the water was brown in colour throughout this period. Initially, I thought my running water tank was dirty. However, when I switched back to my old tap, the water colour was clear with nothing whatsoever. So the quality of the product makes a different in the pricing. No wonder my friend told me they need to use filter in their home in Johor. My guess, could be due to the tap they use? apart from the clear water which may be stained?

So my advice, should you really want to buy, purchase the branded one. But again, it may or may not be cheaper that SG. Water related stuff in SG are all registered and you are paying for the label and registration for so call safety reason while the MY version has no endorsement. My hardware vendor used to sell such stuff but no longer do so as he has to pay for the registration in order to be licence to sell.

Painting gears are cheaper over there. If you visit Jusco the next time, go to their hardware department and look at the bundle sales for painting gear which includes, paint brush, tray, roller and scrapper (not sure any more?). It is sold at RM7.2 Then just take another look at the price of each and every individual item and you know what I mean. Anyway, you can never find that kind of price for all these items in SG.

Avoid enriching the food court boss. I rather patronise independent small business/hawkers than paying overpriced food court food & being served by 'zombie' low paid food court workers.

When near city square at night i always have dinner at Meldrum Street. Self employed business owners aka hawkers there are 'self-motivated' compared to low paid zombie workers at food court.

The money paid to hawkers goes to their pockets instead of some landlord leech.

Exactly. I don't believe in eating in food courts even here, much less to say in Malaysia. At Jalan Meldrum, most of the stall operators are the original stall-holders, and not outsourced to foreign workers, like in Jalan Alor (KL).
