I know a guy who sold his company last month for $4M and took a hike afterwards. So if he decides to apply for a card he will get boot despite the fact that he is sitting on $4M in his bank account?

i just don't understand how credit card booth works. Assuming those people didn't bring income document to apply at credit card booth will they approve it?

this kind of people just need to go priority banking, they will settle for him. they have many ways to handle it

I just noticed you are particularly asking about Citibank. When I applied, it wasn't instant approval. They asked me to submit using their computer at the branch to submit CPF online. For road side booth, normally, promoters have laptop with mobile dongle for you to submit CPF online. If you insist not to submit CPF using their laptop, they will ask you to do so online at your own convenience time or give you the form with envelop and ask you to print CPF or other income docs for you to submit via post.
