I find their pizza n roasted meats stns decent. Noodles n claypots mostly cmi. They have a small section of salads/appertisers as well as desserts. Pay full price i dun find it worth it cos of the limited items, n also comparing to other places (then again, its cheap considering its right smack in the middle of orchard road plus if you're not a big eater, the spread should suffic). Then again, when i went there twice, its like $20 and $15 nett due to promos, so quite worth it

Not tat i know of. Not even those over $100++ buffets like Mezza etc.

When I first booked, no email was sent to me but my sis and my colleagues all got their confirmation emails. The restaurant never even told me need to wait for the email till I emailed them again before they finally send out the mail.

Been to Taiwan many times but still feel Singapore hawker food easily beats Taiwan hawker food. Newton's food taste so much better than those in Shihlin. But do try grilled chicken backside if you can find one.

You must go to Sen Tay Ho. Biggest Buffet in Hanoi. 3 categories. International, Hanoi and Star (highest). Since Star Buffet is basically Hanoi+International buffet, I went to the Hanoi one since I don't want to eat International stuffs which I can easily get in Singapore buffet.

I agree with you. I think spore hawker food much better. But there are some that's good. Shih Lin to me is over rated. I prefer the food at the night market in hualian so much nicer

Certain items are ok, typically the fried food like chicken cutlet (超大雞排). But how bad can fried food taste?

I prefer HK and BKK's street food. When I went to Taiwan some years back, I was so disappointed coz those Taiwanese variety shows portray Taiwanese food like got dragon got phoenix, but end up its only ok. Maybe I went to all the wrong places.

maybe i missed out, can point to me where states 1 order only? when i read the review at hgw, i saw got a promo price but still more expensve than the deal. though the savings is slightly over than $11, but valid till dec.

I tink this is the menu for the deal. Basically, the seafood items n sashimi all 1 order nia.

Voucher price also the same as the 4 pay 3 promo i tink ... of cos you dun have to bother with getting 4 pax if using the voucher.

just thought about it, since going with 2 pax, then 1 time order probably is for 1 pax, so can still order another time if really required. otherwise there are still many items to eat. hehe, got the each pax can choose 2 premium items.. go as 2 pax can try 4 items.

Norm practice for premium items is 1 serving per pax. So for those 4 premium items, 2 pax can order different items n you get to try all 4.

For the other 1 order items, it's normally 1 order per table. They will say the portion will be scaled to the no. of pax, so you can't order twice if 2 pax or 4 times if 4 pax.

If only 2 pax, prolly more than enough dishes to try even with the restrictions. Personally I just dun like to be restricted, esp if I liked the dish n wan another portion.

Cheh you also never jio when you go eat good food. Further You yourself mention nowadays cannot eat a lot so eat less buffets.
