if you have a spare wifi router around, you can install DDWRT and use it as a wifi AP. no need waste money.

i recently "upgraded" from tp-link wrt1043nd to asus ac66u wifi router.

now my tp-link is just lying around. thinking of installing DDWRT on it and use it as a wifi AP. theoretically should be able to achieve some crazy wifi speed but i recently too busy to give it a try.

wow this is good, so if desktop, put on top of the rig and act via "wifi adapter?"

My Book Live
u say booklive
this is it

ok i go read uo more on your router
Linksys SE2500 - 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch
its a swtich not a router
so u dont have any reset button
means this no way to do any setting

it auto matic do the internet connections

i guess u need u do the setting from your computer liao
go your IP and look for DHCP and set it
and renew ip
or diagnose it if u r on a windows
and maybe try to on and off the ONT see if works
and reboot comp
if u not too sure how
let it auto detect it

yup... i am thinking of doing it for my laptop though...

theoretically the performance of this "wifi AP" should be better than the normal wifi AP.
