Hi guys, quick question, i just upgraded from the 100mbps to the 200 mbps plan and they delivered to me this free black router. do I swap the routers myself (from the old white huawei one to this black Asusu one) or wait for the M1 guy to come and set up everything?

Do I still need to get a wireless network adapter for my pc? Would not be using wifi on pc.

from there it will show your m1 ip
then after u off & on ont then u do speedtezt again u check if ip is changed

black huawei port 1 is to your router internet port if u got a router then from router got 4 port out to your comp

if its a switch then from ont port1 u connect to any port on swtich

m1 give u router not ONT... ONT installation must make appointment n right now m1 seems to have comms issue wif nucleus connect

yah M1 coming on Wednesday to "trigger the service". I don't know what that encompasses. That's why I don't know where they will swap it or not. Anyone has any experience with this?

M1 just went to my brother's house to do the ONT installation. He tested using ethernet port but didn't want to pay the extra $50 to do the wireless setup with the router.

Now, he's having trouble activating the wireless using the router. Can any bros help?

For wireless, any recommendations to improve the download speed? Currently getting only 35mbps on the Zenbook Prime.

computer or phone but when I Google your Asus laptop it don't show it support 5ghz

I recall zenbook not sure which model seem like it not cater to the latest dual band or let alone 11ac standard

guess u pay for what u get still matter
my 2011 MacBook still can support 5ghz
guess paid a premium pays off

Apparently , tp-link is working , but ethernet to my computer isn't , tried all the ports and swapped it around still doesnt work.

you mean wifi (tp-link)?

Can advise the connection, like how it is connected.
