ah.... with Wifi N around 80-90+mbps 5ghz never more... I should think if AC this might be better in speed range

I'm on ac66 80mhz
5ghz

test on macbook pro no 11ac wifi still can reach close to my wired speed

sometime subjective
example home layout
interference
equipment wifi quality

just like wired got diff grade of cable even it cat6

Yo can share how far is your router at your living room to your room wireless adapter? 100mbps wireless is very good speed. I can only get 30-40mbps max and that is only during off peak when alot ppl sleeping like 1am to 5am time. Other time is like 8mbps to 15mbps wireless 15m distance away from router.

After varies bang table since FEB this year. M1 finally agreed to switch my old hardware (white ONT and RG) to new black ONT using the EXACTLY the same fibre port (as open net/M1 claim there is capacity issue in my area).

The whole process is quick and clean. About 11am in morning, my broadband is stopped. Technician show up around 330pm and within 30 min. I am up with new hardware.

M1, what take you so long ! I have been suggesting using back the same fibre port and they refuse to admin this is possible!

Most important:
1. The new hardware is so much faster even I remain on the same plan.
2. I can now consider to re-new my contract instead of moving to another vendor.
