Been getting ping spike quite frequently now for dota 2... worse when they can spike up to 1000 ping

Normally how long does it take to arrange opennet to come to check/open TP?

I signed up on 14 Sept together with my BIL and received a call from VQ on 16 to arranged the date for opennet to visit me on 26 Sept and QV on 1 Oct for the installation. However, QV called me up on 23 to tell me opennet wasn't able to come on 26 Sept, therefore, QV will have to postpone their appt too.

Till today, I still can't get a date from QV for the opennet visit.
Can I call opennet myself to arrange the date since it is taking such a long time with no confirmed date yet?

BTW, my BIL whom signed up with me already had everything done agreed on the first arrangement. His location is at Jurong East while I am at Clementi.

My concerns are, when will be a confirmation date and why am I charged for registration and activation fees from 14/09 - 30/9, 01/10 - 31/10 and just received another invoice for 01/11 - 30/11 (I choosed 24 months to pay) when I am not even using the service yet????

I think the timing for maintenance is best between 2 to 5 am. Especially if the downtime is going to be long. Surely there will be someone that will want to use it at this time, but the impact is going to be much smaller than when everyone is up. :)

I think the installment plan for activation or even the non installment one starts/bill immediately upon sign up.

Hi Spectral,

This sounds like there might be some issue with the fiber to your home. Our guys will chase OpenNet for more information and a resolution for you although please understand that sometimes it can be hard to even just get an update from them.

Could you PM me your NRIC and contact details? Will be happy to investigate this further and get you an update on what's going on ASAP!

N for maintenance. Best time is between 1-6am.

Ideally 3-6am since even the night owls sleep around that hour.
