The production of a unit of x requires 1/2 a unit of labour and 1 unit of capital. To produce a unit of y one would need 1 unit of labour and 1/2 a unit of capital. Before sales, only good x must be stored and up to 88 units of x can be stored. There are 100 units of labour, 100 units of capital in the economy. What would
be the opportunity cost of y if 10 units of y are being produced in the economy?

For this question is the the opportunity cost infinite?

Just write out everything systematically...I roughly drawn out the diagram (too bad I cant upload it here)...

its not infinite as it does not lie on the S = 88x line.

Intro to econs notes? I don't think Mark Harries teaches intro to econs. LCC, Zhang or Manfred teaches Intro to econs. :s12::s12::s12:

There is no opportunity cost as the maximum production of x is 88 due to storage constraint

what! that's ridiculous, you should call GEM service, I received a wrong subject guide and they promptly arranged for another delivery to pass me the right one.

Hi guys!
Any tips on studying for sociology?
I'm in Dr Porntipa Wong's class and her notes is quite thin.
So I'm wondering how am I going to study for this subject?

Thanks!

Hi! May I know when and what time is your sociology class? I am from Adrian class and his notes are brief too. Want to share notes to see if they are the same? Hope to hear from you soon;)
