Windows 8.1 is LIVE now

i upgraded to windows 8.1 but i m having problem creating a backup to my thumb drive. anyone can advice?

Since 1pm, login to windows store hanged at account login page. It kept flashing "Waiting for login.live". Anybody faced this? Totally gave up especially compared to Apple efficiency in iOS7 upgrade

Once switch to local account, basically most of the stuff can't be used and they will force you to switch back to a Microsoft account. Quite irritating.

I have been trying to delete the old Windows folder all this while but failed.

Ya... I always do clean-up...once this is run...all old windows files gone..

Hi, I output to my 40 inch TV running 1920x1080, everything seems to be in correct resolution except for:

1) Windows Explorer
2) VLC GUI

Any idea?

I get the impression that only some windows are not in the right resolution.

check Asus site for latest drivers for your components.

I have no issues with my Asus motherboard and Xonar DX (all latest bios/win8 drivers)

Ya... I always do clean-up...once this is run...all old windows files gone..

This is good indeed. After installing the 8.1 update and cleaning up the files, really saved quite a lot of GB.
