hi. where can i get the so called gold battery ? how much is it ?

thought something is wrong with my note, so i bought the note 3. After i got the note 3, i decide to root my note. everything seems faster and no more lag. but battery still drains like crazy. guess it's battery problem.

Newer phones' 'Business Gold not out yet, only the gold clone', and are hard to find.

Guess they need time to research, before plunging in like their imitators, who try bs that it is changed new label, export reqm. and nots..
Same as the branded ones, Anker, Yoobao, etc. usually a while more.

Bro, just root it. Me super tech idiot, but now this phone is rather mature and lots of roms and rooting procedure is much more stable.

A few post away were some advices given by touchme, very good. Go read up.

No regrets.

I noticed that the Supernexus 2.0 are quite stable and the response time are faster than JB 4.1.2. I'm still with DXLS8 radio, anyone with the latest radio XXLT3 or LT4?

On Jackbean CM10 based Rom, android 4.3 last night.

Brand new interface, running away from the stake Samsung look. Heavily customizable UI, like xposed all built-in. Looking good.

Hi
I upgraded my 2-yrs NOTE 1 to a NOTE 3 recently. I luv my NOTE 1 - it served me well. I also have a original spare battery and battery charger.

NOW I AM CONSIDERING ROOTING IT...
A question: Note 1 restricts up to 2Gb for APPs installation (even though I have 16Gb device memory). If I root it, will this restriction disappear?

Thanks in advance for your answer. I have never root before, so I am also reading up at the same time.

there is a guide in XDA to merge both memories together. I tried it but I think I miss one or two steps and screwed it up. I reset-ed it and re-root and just settle with 2GB after clearing out all the bloat apps

Thanks. I will read it and try to understand it first b4 doing anything. 2GB isn't that much nowadays, especially when I enjoy the Asphalt 8: Airborne but it takes about 1.3Gb space.

Funny, people upgrade already then think of rooting old phone..Note is mature with tonnes of stable ROMs and tweaks. Now new phone still have to wait for root and custom Rom to be out, sane for my Mega, end up stillI play and change note rom, 2 years still no sian.

Do you all encounter this problem where the 3G data reconnection is very slow or virtually not working?

For e.g., at point A I can surf net, when I move to point B the connection is totally cut for say 5-10 mins.
Then I try to move back to point A, but the reception (esp 3G data) like cannot reconnect.
Instead of waiting for a long long time trying to reconnect, I have to restart my phone so that it can immediately reconnect.

Is there a way to rectify? I even tried to put to flight mode or switch off data network, and then reactivate again, but this method is useless and causes much slow down.

Btw my handset is from starhub and I am using M1 network. I upgraded to latest Jelly Beans provided by Samsung since many months back and I ever tried factory reset before, but still no use.

Do you think rooting or using custom rom will help?

Rarenick, ensure your m1 apn is sunsurf.
Though not necessary, key in user:65, pw:user123
Seems better for me with the extra inputs.

I went in it is already m1 sunsurf.
User is 65.
Pw was nothing but I just set to user123.

I guess this method will not help me much, but thanks anyway.
