I searched and strange no one talk about most go buffet/restaurant in Taiwan. Is it because taiwan is about NM food? If no, got any nice buffet in taipei or taichung?

Night Markets are the main attractions in Taiwan, other than TWMMs.

Foodie, try the aquatic addiction which is nearby Songshan Airport. Get ready to pay like 1-1.5NT per pax for a decent meal.

DTF is not too bad there, if you crave for it. But locally, they prefer 点水楼。 Some other establishments are not bad, but u need to hunt them down. Back to basic, what you like is not my liking, so it's very personal. I like DTF skin but i prefer 点水楼's 馅料。

Not forgetting locals are paid slightly about 22K, NTD, avg about 1K SGD, so not many will be willing to fork out that type of money for such luxury food.

i think i go Tw i wont eat buffet ba even though i like buffet alot
i think the NM food is > than enough

Locally, we will eat buffet for mala steamboat. They do not really choose the food, but choose which one got fantastic ice-cream then will decides which one to patronise. Most will go for haagen dazs or movenpick. The rest, 他们看不起眼。
Avg price of steamboat buffet is between 499-699NTD.

And there are quite a lot around that area.

Famous for Mala ones are in Taichung, the infamous 鼎王。

if my flight is 6.15pm and I want to go to chingjing, can I go to taichung by HSR and then Puli to stay at Puli hotel so that I do not have to wake up so early the next day?

Because I saw that the Taichung bus leave at 6.50am to Chingjing via Puli.
