Greatly appreciated if any VQ fibre folk can help me to do a PingPlotter trace route test to v5app1.sistation.com and post the result here. I want to see the latency of every hops connecting to my rice bowl. Using SingNet now, as you can see is puking blood from hop 9 onward all the way to the server.

As requested,

200Mbps VQ subscriber.

Add on:

When I tried to "ping" using CMD utility, it gave the time out 100% loss issue too. Please check if the server is down or what as I had never used this software / site before.

Here you go.

If it's your ricebowl and milliseconds really matter, then you should probably consider subscribing to starhub.

[off-topic: It looks like the route from singnet to starhub is going via the US, but the return route from starhub to singnet is probably going by a much shorter path (else the latency would be 300+ms). You might also be able to complain to singnet, if you can find your way to a network engineer]

[on-topic: VQ really has people you can reach to request route optimisation.]

Is this true? I was also told $99 + 50 for Asus AC68 when signing up for new plan.

sounds like there are two option now.

for 24months 400mbps (+ free 100mbps 6months) plan,

1. free AC66U (without onevoice) / +$50 for RT-AC68U and free 6months freedom vpn

2. +$99 for AC66U free 24months onevoice) and free 12 months freedom vpn

*this is not official reply :D

Option 1 was for the CEE Pre-Show Bundle promo which is now over :(

You can find the new promotional plans for this week here: CEE | ViewQwest Pte Ltd

are u guys talking to starhub and singtel about the lag..

You think Starhub / Singtel will give a F**k? I think this forum got quite a number of users who recommend smaller RSP players like MR / VQ cost Singtel and Hub a lot of business liao leh.

Yes the prices listed before are inclusive of GST.

To clarify then - (prices below are inclusive of GST) - for existing ViewQwest subscribers:

Asus RT-AC66U - $239

Asus RT-AC68U - $289

eh~ why your side they send me quotation of 309.23 w/ gst?
then i pay extra 20 dollar for what har?

That was a mistake (i think the quotation form automatically adds the GST and the person typed in $289 by mistake).

Just managed to pick up my bnib AC68U from VQ showroom before lunch. Apparently I am the 1st buyer!

I heard there are limited stocks. so for those of you who are intending to get it, go and buy while stocks last!

Now my edgerouter lite port forwarding TCP 443 is working.

I received a e-mail from viewqwest noc on user guide how to do it.

Able to VPN in with firewall as they do not block outgoing tcp port 443 internet connection.
